Seyfarth’s Downtown Los Angeles office opened its doors in 2009, and has since grown into a full-service office practicing throughout California. It is recognized for its strength in business immigration, corporate law, labor and employment, and real estate. Through recruitment and interdisciplinary collaboration, we are actively expanding practices such as bankruptcy litigation, class actions, and land use law.

Our attorneys serve clients of all sizes and from various industries, ranging from high-profile nonprofit organizations, to the largest public corporations. Clients benefit from close collaboration between our four California offices in, as well as those throughout the globe. This footprint provides an extensive reach into a number of industries, including financial services, health care, retail, hospitality, marketplace, technology, and real estate.

The Downtown Los Angeles office achieves positive morale and camaraderie through the ongoing work of our supportive, productive attorneys and staff. We collaborate across practice groups to create legal opportunities to facilitate growth. The commitment to our workplace philosophy is apparent in our recent move to a larger, more vibrant office space. This new space reflects our modern strategies, maximizes efficiencies, and captures our collaborative culture.

We are exceptionally dedicated to the local community that we have been a part of for nearly 40 years. The office places an emphasis on pro bono legal work, and is actively involved with philanthropic organizations by means of leadership roles, sponsorships, and fundraising. For instance, partner Jeffrey Wortman serves on the board of directors at Western Justice Center. Additionally, the Downtown Los Angeles office received the Corporate Luminary award from Pasadena Symphony Association in recognition of our pro bono work and contribution to the arts in 2018.

Better known as "DTLA," the office is prominently situated in the Figueroa at Wilshire building, a landmark structure in downtown’s core, at a high-profile intersection of Los Angeles. The building is the eighth-tallest building in Los Angeles, and features a dramatic 75-foot atria and a signature glass crown, establishing a bold architectural presence in the skyline. This location is adjacent to renowned landmarks such as the STAPLES Center, Grand Central Market, The Broad Contemporary Art Museum, and LA Live Dining and Entertainment Complex.
